Pre-Claiming Tasks for Review

Occasionally, clients will request that a recording be transcribed with utmost priority. We call these Surge Tasks, and when they are requested, you'll have the opportunity to pre-claim the review while transcribers are still working on the transcription. This is to ensure that someone is ready to review the task as soon as it is available. 

What's different about surge tasks? 

• Because of the quick turnaround time and the commitment required, these tasks are paid at a rate of  $0.95 per audio minute.
• You'll be alerted when they are available via email, or you can find them on your dashboard here: 

• You'll get an email letting you know when the review is ready for you to work on. 
  • You must begin the review one hour after you receive the email that it is ready to be reviewed (when the transcribers are done). If you don't start the review within an hour of it being done with transcription, it will automatically be unclaimed from you by the system and put back in the queue for someone else to pick it up.
